Ugh…if you have received a crazy message from me via Facebook or email that states I am in London and have been mugged and need money…….Delete it immediately. It is a fraud. I guess this is another learning lesson for me and I’m sure I’ll blog about it. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Hope all is well with you in L.A.
I am writing you because I would like to know if you can offer some guidance and advice on how to break into the public relations field.
I graduated in August 2008 with a journalism degree from Michigan State University. Regardless of my degree and lucrative internship experiences, I still have not been able to get a non-intern, career position mostly due to the economy of course. I truly don’t care about how much I make because job satisfaction and loving what I have to do every day is much more important to me but how can I gain the 3+ years experience most P.R. job listings require if no one ever gives me the chance to gain that experience??
I have the passion, enthusiam, and personality for P.R. but what do you suggest I do in order to convince someone to give me a shot?
