I actually found myself very moved by the Google spot, almost to tears. It just snuck up on me, but I think that the simplicity you wrote about allows the spot to touch the heart very directly. It also places Google as an integral, emotional, forever-useful part of your daily life, which makes it very effective.

I've learned to never dismiss the idiot vote, but a leap from FOX News pundit to Presidential candidate would be so unprecedented that to call it "impossible" would be an understatement. She may very well declare her candidacy, but winning the Republican primaries? She only held one major position in government and she quit in the middle. I know, this assumes people would think in logical terms, so it's pointless to spend more time on why she won't go any further than FOX. I think if Obama can right this ship and go into the 2012 elections with good momentum, the Republicans will need their "sacrificial lamb" (think Robert Dole in '96) to run against what could be a still-popular Prez. Thoughts?

Nice assessment. Fair and accurate. I smell a rat when career paths flow like this. It is illogical to me, but you are spot on the way you spell it out. You are so right that it is a win-win for the groups you mentioned. I am amazed at the personal popularity and power she has and I remain mystified by that. Where will she have to relocate to? Or will she commute? Isn't that a really stressful think-on-your-feet position? I'll be waiting to see how this goes and where it will lead. And when will Lou Dobbs pop up again? Keep us posted.

I completely agree. It's not great, but they have to. They'll be damaged if either leave. Jay's probably already damaged enough. If they want to hold on to what audience they have they really need to stick and suck it up. There are too many other options, and a ton of late night shows out there now. It's not like the beginning of the decade when you only had the major networks to choose from. There are dozens of alternatives. If they go, a lot of their audience probably will and they'll be unemployed shortly.

Great reminder, Cindy. My first inclination is always to push harder, whenever something is difficult, frustrating or scary. Which only makes things feel more pressured. Which doesn't help the situation at all. Hard to make that mental shift, but I'll definitely be trying. Thanks!

Thank you, Cindy, for such a fun day. It's amazing to see what God is doing at WACC and in our community!
There is abundant blessings when we give of ourselves - this was a wonderful example of God working in
us and through us. I'm so blessed to be a part of God's loving family!!

Cindi,
Oh do try and find your vision board from last year. I'd love to hear how your results turn out. It would be very interesting to see how it applied to your creative and inspirational life.
Happy New Year,
Cindy
